My first time attending an event at West World and I was pleasantly satisfied with the whole experience of attending the horse show. Parking was free and easy and the had plenty of golf carts shuttling people around. The facility is clean and well maintained and food services were expensive but also good with an ample amount of choices.
No matter how many times you've seen that Barrett Jackson auction on TV, nothing will prepare you for your first-time visit! Get here when the gates open and have the most comfortable shoes you can muster. I've been going for close to 30 years and it never gets old!
Fabulous experience! Great space for Barrett Jackson, plenty of close parking, great family fun. There are more cars to see than you can imagine, and watching the bidding is so much fun. You can even sit with a professional driver on a race track. There's every kind of food imaginable, and drinks if you like. This is a family experience we'll be back for!
Spendy. And I didn't even buy anything at the auction! 🤣 25-30 bucks to get in the door. Per person. Once inside you don't have to spend any money. Just walk around and check out all the cool cars, vendors, etc. Lots to look at. But we stopped by a food stand and bought 2 turkey legs and a basket of waffle fries. $70. 😳.. Oh, and everything is credit card. No cash. You can't bring in a bag bigger than the size of you hand either. A small ladies handbag thing will probably be fine. It's a really cool place tho! Wear comfy shoes. Lotsa walking.
The venue itself was ok. The Barrett Jackson gala was more of a sad trombone. And the food was horrible!! Those were 5 star restaurant vendors? One served their version of spaghetti ohs. They nailed it! Tasted like crap in a can!! The cars and the music are always fantastic though!!!
