Almost 3 years living here and 3 years well spent. From the amazing front office staff Jacquie, Crystal and Taylor to the super nice maintenance team, i've enjoyed every day. My thoughts are heard, the vibes are up, the location is amazing, my apartment is swanky, it's going to be hard to leave here!! Probably wont till i buy a house. 10/10 APARTMENT living. Thank you Summit!
Guys, I needed to move in one month. Miss Jackie sent me on a self guided tour since Taylor was out of office. Which is fine. I go to see 2 units of the same floor plan, one had the attached photo and the doors were stuck. Like every door. I had to he mad the pantry open in both units. There was a dead cricket on the counter. The fan vents in the bathrooms did not work. The fans and light themselves barely worked. The light was so so dim. The fans on high barely turned. I was so so excited to see this place and sign my life away for another year. I think this just convinced me to stay where I am.
The process was fairly easy. Crystal made it very simple and straightforward and I was approved before I knew it. The only reason why I’m giving it two stars it’s because I was towed my first night of living here because I was given the wrong parking sticker. Then they proceeded to give me another sticker that was also for a parking spot that was already taken. I knew the parking situation was bad from the reviews, but never did. I think it was to the point where staff didn’t know what was taken, and what wasn’t. I had to pay close to $300 to get my car back for a mistake that wasn’t even my own and I almost had to pay $300 AGAIN but thankfully, I learned my lesson to not trust them and didn’t park in the parking space that they told me to, Or else I probably would’ve paid another $300. Jackie Did end up giving me a parking space that wasn’t taken, and she even watched the parking spot to make sure nobody had the spot which was very nice of her. She’s actually very nice and polite! Super sweet woman. Another reason for giving it two stars is because only having one way to enter the building. Basically, there’s a key fob that opens your own door and Basically, the doors to enter the amenities. Which is great for the safety component, but at the same time it Can be frustrating if you forget your keys in your apartment and if you’ve already left the building, you’re stuck waiting outside for someone. Which I personally think think it’s an issue Because in this hot weather, if someone with the baby forgets their keys inside or someone with a pet the pet or a child could easily have a heat stroke because you don’t know how long you’re gonna wait to get into the building. If you live facing Chandler Boulevard, then you’re going to hear the cars all the time because the windows are very cheaply made But you eventually you learn to tune it out. Also, Depending where in the apartment complex you live, you will have to walk a little bit to get to your car. If you only have a parking space that you have to share but if you live in building three, then you don’t have to walk that far, which is nice because there’s a street right there where you could park your car On a positive side, staff is very nice and maintenance gets things done very quickly. The pool is very nice and the apartments come with speakers. I’m not sure if it’s for all the apartments But mine does and that’s really nice. There is a dog park that you do have to walk to And if you’re on the other side of the complex and it is a little bit of a walk for the dogs during the heat. Also, some pet owners are not very clean and they don’t clean up after their pets and that’s very gross not sure if they get fined for doing that but they should. The gym is fairly small, but big enough to where you don’t feel like it’s too crowded. The mail room is also very nice. Also to get your packages, once again, depending where you are in the complex, it can be a tiny walk it and Inconvenient if you order large Packages you’re gonna have to either drive your car to the package room and get your large package and then drive it to your apartment. I’m sure you can leave instructions to leave it at your door, but I’m not sure if that’s allowed
i lived here for two years and i could not say enough good things about it. originally from the midwest, i did extensive research on apartments before i flew out to look. i came out for 4 days and had back to back viewings the entire time. except i didn’t. this was the last stop on my first day and i knew immediately that my search was over. the complex itself is beautiful and well maintained! i’ve never had any complaints about the grounds or amenities at all. smells great all the time? music by the pool. direct view of the golf course. beautiful sunsets. ping pong. 9 panel TV. rooftop deck. rotunda room. business center. valet trash. cornhole. putting green. firepits. grills galore. seriously the first month i lived here i kept referring to it as “the hotel” cause it was just so luxurious it was hard to remember that i actually lived here. the community helps with that though! all the residents are so kind, i’ve made friends of all ages in my two years here! everyone is pretty social, a lot of us know each others name. THE STAFF knows our names. im really trying to keep this short, but Jacquie is absolutely amazing. you can tell she genuinely loves and cares for this community. she made me feel so comfortable in my move and i knew that if i ever needed anything i could ask her. she is so in touch with her residents — she helped me rehome a kitten i found to another resident that had lost her cat. how SWEET is that! maintenance is so timely that i usually WAIT to put in requests cause i know they’ll show up within a day. the apartment themselves are beautiful! very sleek, high ceilings, great balconies, HUGE islands. great materials. my favorite apartment i’ve ever lived in. the location is great! short walk to downtown chandler shops and restaurants. close to the 101 and 202 and the mall. it really made me sad to have to move from this place, it was the first apartment i’ve ever had that truly felt like home. i highly recommend this community! Thank you to all the staff and the residents of Summit at San Marcos for making my transition to Arizona comfortable ❤️✨
Literally toured more than 20 apartment communities and houses for rent near Chandler before deciding on Summit at San Marcos. I would have given 5 stars, but since I have two vehicles and cannot rent a garage with the carport had to give them 4. I’ll have to drive around when using my personal vehicle to find an open spot which is a major inconvenience. With that said, the leasing agent, Cynthia, was professional and really took the time during our tour to show me all of the amenities as well as several units. My new apartment overlooking San Marcos golf course is great and I cannot wait to move in October 29th!
