Had a shower that had a worn out cartridge, called Scottsdale Plumbing and inquired what it would cost over the phone the receptionist did her best to give me a ballpark quote after looking up my part and calling me back. They provide free quotes, whether over phone or a visit to your house. Made an appointment with Sean who was on time, took a look at my issue and went right to work and had zero issues with installing a new cartridge. Shower fixed nice and easy with no issue at an honest price. Thanks again Sean! Be sure to get call Scottsdale Plumbing & let them to give you a quote on your job.
My family has been using Scottsdale Plumbing for 30 years. They are always responsive and take care of the problem quickly and for an appropriate price. I always recommend them.
Yet another disappointment by Scottsdale Plumbing. They hire anyone to work for them and have inexperienced plumbers. DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOME! My uncle had work done by them yesterday and left him without hot water after charging him over $500 to replace parts that were UNDER WARRANTY and it's been 38 degrees the past several nights they've been without hot water! Here is the invoice to prove it (2 elements, 2 thermostats). They installed the water heater in April 2018 so it was less than a year old with a 6 year warranty and it went out last Saturday. Today is Wednesday! The tech, Mario, admitted to not knowing anything about electrical, but proceeded to replace every part on the water heater anyways. We called another plumber out and within 10 minutes he had the problem diagnosed and fixed, making hot water. The tech failed to open the other junction box in the wall, leading to find the fried wire exposed in plain view after he opened it and looked in there with his flashlight. Stripped 2 wires with a new wire nut the water heater was on and making hot water. $75 service call was all he paid and that was all to get the problem fixed. The tech spent a lot of time on the phone with American Water Heater Tank company phone operator reading a screen telling him to replace parts left and right when there was not sufficient power going to the water heater in the first place. There is no way the tech could have possibly figured out what was wrong with it by just replacing everything. What a nightmare to be dealing with. I hope they see this and conduct the proper training their techs need. Stop taking peoples money and ripping everyone off!!! Why would you leave a house knowing they haven't had hot water in days and take OVER $500 with you?! Poor business ethics as no one else cared to help this individual that came out yesterday. Where is the supervisor? Who trained him? Who let him out into the field not trained or qualified on how to do his job? I had to take time out of my day to go help him out with this issue as the electrician was going to be yet another charge and another day away. How frustrating. Do yourself a favor and call another plumber in the area.
Place is good they do good work. At least Brandon did. Needed a quick pipe fix. Had to be soldered. Took less than two hours. My problem with it is that they charged $10 trip charge for a customer 7 minutes away, and a $20 charge for the gas used to solder a single copper pipe cap. Job was done good but I don't feel those things should be an extra charge. It feels sneaky.
I have a Airbnb and we had a emergency with the shower valve. I have a home warranty but I needed someone same day. Enter Scottsdale Plumbing. The plumber refused to change the valve, even though I told him I needed it done. He said they didn't have time and would search for the part. They ghosted me and did not reply to requests for updates. They had no sense of urgency or understanding that I am a business woman running a business. They finally fixed it days later after multiple missed bookings and comped nights. I could have had it done faster for $75 under my home warranty. They lie and don't return calls. Buyer beware.
