Nice relaxing dim lit atmosphere. I had a prime old fashioned and was very good. The Tomahawk steak did not disappoint. The service was timed right and staff were friendly.
It’s crazy dark when you walk in and if you’re over 40 it’s going to take a minute to adjust. I was worried I was going trip when they led us to our table. For a “fine dining” restaurant they had rap music with F words playing which seemed a little weird and a rowdy crowd at the bar. Food was very disappointing. At that price point there are expectations for the quality and the preparation. Our meals tasted fine but could have used a lot of improvement. My husband had the short ribs which were over cooked and dry and crumbly. I had the lemon chicken pasta which was just okay nothing impressive. It mostly tasted of lemon zest and was overpowering. The lava cake was rubbery and covered in a canned blueberry sauce —defiantly do not recommend that. We would not consider this a fine dining and do not recommend for a romantic dinner out.
I liked the vibe as you get through the door, it is such a contrast to the empty street outside! The art on the walls was interesting and different. The service was great. I recommend the roasted vegetables. It included broccoli, squash, carrots and cauliflower. My only issue was the salt level in the Wagyu meatballs. It was delicious but definitely too salty. Good thing I don’t have a blood pressure issue!
Yummy basted steak, fresh oysters. Great drinks aps and mains. Go but tell too many people or it will be crowded..
This place is amazing and it’s like a hidden gem. It’s located right outside of old town Scottsdale and there was plenty of parking. The inside is very small and intimate and the staff is very friendly. The music and artwork is also very cool. Food and drinks were amazing! Highly recommend the steaks and ahi tuna tostadas! Would come back for a special occasion
