George-Owner is very gracious and welcoming to all. The food was all very good and our drinks were spot on. We had the Ribs—delish. The Burger Sliders and the Steak Tacos both yummy. The Gooey Butter Cake—yummy, the Chocolate Pecan Pie—Oh my—was the best and such a huge piece. We enjoyed our visit from start to finish. Thank you George and Justin (bartender/server). Place to get a superb steak, sides, and some wine. Soup and appetizers were delicious. The place was clean and the service wad kind and welcoming. I would come back when in Scottsdale.
Had an app, salad, soup and dessert at the bar for a late dinner. Toasted ravioli were very good as was the onion soup and peppercorn steak soup. The Mayfair Salad was good, but a bit heavy on the dressing. Dessert was tasty. Justin was our bartender and we enjoyed chatting with him on a quiet Wednesday evening.
Was staying at the Hilton Garden Inn right next to this establishment and decided to treat myself. The location was perfect for me, and it is located within easy walking distance to the Old Town area. I was there on a Monday, and although Google didn't show it was a busy day, I made a 5 30pm. reservation just to be safe. I chose to sit at a hightop in the lounge/bar area since I was alone. Bartender was attentive and friendly, I never had a long wait for service. Prices were a bit high, but I kind of expected it from a steakhouse. I ordered the signature Old Fashion, which was a steep $19, but it was quite good. For food, I started with the bacon wrapped seared scallops. At a price of $24, I was not at all pleased nor impressed with these, unfortunately. The order consisted of only 3 medium scallops that were tepid at best, resting inside rock-hard rings of cold bacon - not crispy, hurt your teeth and strain your jaw hard. For my entree I decided on the ribeye, cooked rare. It was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly to my choice of doneness, it was very tender and juicy. For a bit of a dessert, I decided to have another Old Fashion, this time made with my preferred Basil Hayden Dark Rye. It was clear the Bartender knew his craft. This one ran me $1 less than the signature. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would lively visit if I was in the Scottsdale Old Town area and wanted to treat myself again.
Frashers Tavern is an incredible steakhouse! Started the night with delicious drinks at the bar, then moved to a table where we had yummy appetizers. I loved the crab cakes and the ravioli ran away before i could try it so im confident they were well loved by all. The headliner was one of the most flavorful steaks I've ever had in my life. Wine was excellent and the creme brulee dessert topped it all off! The owner even came out to check on us and we talked hockey and more. I highly recommend this place for any occasion. With colleagues and associates, the atmosphere was chill and this would make an elegant date night too!
