    The VRBO we rented for two weeks had LOTS of issues. The rental was new to Elite and there were no reviews of the place. My review is not of the place but instead of Elite Vacation Rentals. They worked very hard to remedy all of the issues as soon as possible. They were courteous and respectful in hearing us out on the problems we encountered. So if you rent from this property management company and are willing to work with them they will do their best to make sure you are a satisfied customer.

    My 3 kids and I stayed at southern 2068 for 4 nights. Prior to our arrival I had received multiple automated email/texts regarding check in. After a late flight we arrived to the unit. It was difficult to locate the unit in the dark as the check in instructions had no information to help find the unit and the unit number are not lit. After we found our unit we tried the key code and it did not work. For 30 minutes at 10:15pm we tried to text/call look at the map again to verify the unit but still could not enter the unit. I attempted to call again and finally someone picked up. Their first question was “is this the first time you called” with the following “do you want the code now?” Not apologetic at all for the mishap. The next day I discussed the issue and they kept saying it was a human mistake and they hoped I understood. I had asked for some compensation for the error and they asked me what I thought would be appropriate compensation. On our day of check out I had extended our stay for 1/2 the price of the night because our flight was 5 hours after check out. I asked them to comp that extended stay since it was only 5 hours and they replied that they did not think that was appropriate compensation for their mistake. They offered a gift basket which never arrived and they never attempted to fix this issue at all for the rest of our stay. The actual unit was ok- however the bathrooms and laundry smelled moldy as if the tub cleaning cycle has never been run on the machine. Also the master bedroom has a thin comforter but the other two rooms have a very thin quilt that is not warm at all. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, cups, bowls, and appliances. There is a fitness center and a pool but there was no information on how to access it. If you choose to stay here the keys that are left open the gate to the pool and then there’s a door from the pool deck to access the fitness center. The fitness center is very dated and there is not a ton of equipment. The check out instruction say take out the garbage but it gives no instruction where or how. There is a gated dumpster at the end of the road for your trash. The bathrooms and towels do smell moldy but they do provide some basic toiletries. They also had a couple bottles of water, popcorn, and candy at check in. All in all the unit is ok but this review is more for the management company and customer service. We were locked out of the unit for a considerable time, late at night with three young kids because of an error on their part and it was never fixed.

    Great home! We stayed with our two kids and their kids aged 5&7. The house was absolutely awesome! We chose this house because of the pool and spa and it did not disappoint! The pool was really big with steps so that the little ones could play on the steps. We made s’mores with the fire pit, we putted around on the putting green. The location was perfect! 1.3 miles from a Safeway and lots of great restaurants and so quiet. We will be back!

    Warning to property owners - stay away from this management company. Recently stayed at a remodeled home, in a nice neighborhood that was completely neglected. I feel bad for the homeowner as their property is no longer as described on AirBnB. Weeds were taller than my toddler, heat was broken, WiFi inoperable, housekeeper was running 40 minutes behind, advertised items missing. Really a shame to see.

    Stefanie Gould is extremely rude and failed to resolve our issues. Upon check in, I noticed that the property had not been cleaned. All the washrooms and kitchen had garbage bags that were full, beds were not made and kitchen was dirty. I tried to get a hold of the host through VRBO messaging App. No response from the Host. I had no other way to get a hold of the host even though I had asked the host week before our check in if they could share a phone number in case there were any issues. The host refused to share a phone number and told me that I had to use the VRBO message APP. I had to call VRBO customer service as I had no way to get a hold of the host. I finally got a hold of the host and the host said they would find cleaning staff and send them over to the property. Cleaners finally arrived at 6PM; meanwhile my check in time was 4PM. As opposed to enjoying my vacation, I was messaging the host and calling VRBO to get things sorted out. Completely unacceptable. Our first night of stay was not enjoyable at all especially for a place that charged us over $600USD/night. After our stay, I contacted the host and asked them what they are doing to rectify the situation. They refunded me $300USD, which is completely unreasonable and disrespectful. Property was dirty at check in, they did not answer VRBO APP messages, and my guests (6 out of 9) had to run around two different cities to get ready. I told the host that $300 refund was completely unreasonable and asked for a refund of at least one night but the host was not willing to work with me.
