The kids [2 & 4] loved running around and seeing trains while we try to teach and show them some History. Staff was friendly and informative. The WW2 cranes are the coolest looking thing around and I want one. What a machine!! Thanks to all the people who keep this running! History is important to keep around and getting to touch it make a huge difference.
I used to work for Canadian Pacific Rail in the Midwest so being around trains 🚂 is not just a fascination. My wife and I really enjoyed our 90 min visit of the passenger cars and locomotives. Those were the days of luxury travel and beautiful vistas. Admission Feb ‘24 was $15 pp. Very friendly volunteer staff. Recommend!
One of the better train museums I have been at. Plenty of cars to poke through. Staff are very knowledgeable.
Wonderful. Highly recommend. Lots of history, gracious hosts. The staff were so nice. Staff provided a map and were asked about “must sees” in the area. Their recommendations were spot on! We loved them all. There is a heartwarming tribute to the American Service Members who passed from the area. Thank you for honoring our veterans!
Fantastic collection of passenger equipment. A good variety of heavyweight, streamlined and hi-level equipment. The Baldwin diesel is a must see. The museum is laid out well and is easy to navigate. The inside exhibits were informative and well displayed..
