Our Progressive Dinner Food Tour with Zach (owner) of Arizona Food Tours this week was exceptional. Having been on many food tours, our visit was fun, enjoyable, included many bits of historical information about Scottsdale. What sets this food tour as exceptional included the obvious collaboration that Zach has earned over the years with each of the food service locations, including one of the owners meeting us at his door. Zach often let our group mingle with the other Food Tour participants and checked back at a comfortable pace to insure we were satisfied. We found the food offerings unique, tasty, and filling. We visited one of the four restaurants the following day. Zack also recommended a few areas (Scottsdale Civic Center) where we went to after our Food Tour. Again, Zach has built a relationship with these food stop location owners & staff...something that makes this specific food tour quite unique.
Did this tour about a month ago with my mom-in-law. We both had an enjoyable, laid back time walking and learning about Scottsdale. Zach was a great tour guide and introduced us to great spots that we would definitely check out again. In fact, we even returned to get gelato with the whole fam, it was so good! Zach also provided a few more recommendations for next time. We love doing food tours when we travel and would highly recommend this one when visiting Scottsdale.
We had a lively group of 10 ladies out exploring the Scottsdale area. Zach was AMAZING. He provided not only personalized service but such knowledge on the area and some fun info about each food spot. We received great tastings, beverages and had so much fun! Arizona Food Tours with Lindsey was fantastic and the food was amazing. Our group size was perfect for having small cordial conversations. Our guide, Lindsey was full of great conversational facts about Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona, Phoenix, the state of Arizona and the remarkable food we tasted! And the fact, it was a walking tour gave us plenty of time to digest and get ready for the next place on the list. I was excited to get the historical facts about Arizona and Scottsdale. The history was only second to the phenomenal foods we ate! Lindsey was the BEST! Add this food tour to your list of things to do in the Phoenix area!
Great experience with Zach on a post-thanksgiving afternoon. We enjoyed some decadent meals, fantastic drinks, and learned a lot about what made the city what it is. Zach was very knowledgeable, and hospitable a highly recommend for anyone yearning to explore Scottsdale for a couple of hours!
