I was pleasantly surprised to find out upon arrival this is a free museum. The Japanese internment camp display inside was absolutely heart breaking but so well put together and educational while still providing a heartfelt quality. The second area on Dr chandler and Frank Lloyd Wright lightened the mood while providing a rich history of the city and the two mens architectural marvels together. Some stairs were required but for the most part areas to sit and rest when accompanied by a grandparent or elderly parent were provided and available.

Small but solid museum. Part, most of it, is about the history of Chandler with some great displays about the people and businesses that started and helped grow the local community. The other side is rotating exhibits. We saw a photo collection about Alzheimer's. Free admission so I bought something from the gift shop to help support them. Recommended.

The Chandler Museum provides a free, enriching experience that brings perspective to history. The "Dust Bowl Migrants in Chandler" exhibit (March 8, 2022 – August 13, 2023) tells a compelling story of resilience, shedding light on hardships often overlooked in school. This exhibit captures the struggles and determination of those who sought new beginnings. The museum’s layout allows for a relaxed yet comprehensive visit, but really only takes about an hour to explore. Families will appreciate the interactive scavenger hunt, which keeps kids engaged. You can connect with Chandler’s past, and appreciate the perseverance of the people that shaped it.

A hidden treasure in Chandler. The display about the Japanese American interment camps was very well done.
