Today was my first time coming here. I am so grateful for the beautiful affordable produce they sell. Such a cute little farmers market. Definitely will recommend this place to others! Could not be more impressed with the quality!
I love the locally grown vegetables and fruits from Greenhouse Gardens! They have a weekly farmers market as well as mid-week garden boxes that include a bag of veggies and recipes. This week I got collards, broccoli, carrots, baby kale, little gem lettuce, turnips and citrus. My veggie intake has increased thanks to this local gem!
Friendly, knowledgeable people run this farmers market & there's a nice selection of locally grown vegetables & fruits at decent prices. Neighbors were there buying produce, so it felt like a very "community-friendly" environment.
A Beautiful Memory in Arizona On Saturday, May 29th, I went to the Green house .Gardens. I bought some fresh vegetables and eggs there and tried to buy peanut cookies sold at the entrance of the Farmer's Market . But the cookies were already sold out . I was so sorry because I promised to bring delicious cookies for my beloved grandson of 30 months in Korea. The lady who sells cookies told me to order it, but I had to go back to Korea the next day, so I couldn't order it Then a lady (and her husband) listening to our conversation took a bag of cookies from her handbag and said, "Have this. I can order again " I was appreciated and wanted to pay for the cookies. But she declined saying it was OK and gladly giving it to my grandson. I remember this as a touching and an impressive story. My family is grateful for the kindness and consideration of this unknown couple. I am planning to visit Arizona again next year, and I want to meet the couple again . I will visit the green house often. The Green house was a nice place to meet fresh vegetables , fruits, delicious cookies, bread, etc. and especially nice people!
Produce is nice. But quite expensive. $8 for a dozen eggs seems high. Many organic farms around sell them for $5.
