Today was our first time here, and we really enjoyed ourselves. First, a shout out to Zeke, our server. He had a great attitude and provided prompt service. The food was delicious! I ordered the Burning Angus burger with fries with green chili. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a whole green chilie on my burger and not the canned diced ones. Being from NM, I love the flavor of a "real" green chilie. I wish the pepper was a little spicier, but you can't really tell its heat level by just looking at it. It was still amazing. I ordered the burger medium rare. It was cooked perfectly. I paired this burger with the Legends Never Die IPA. It was a perfect combo. I forgot to ask for some to go. The atmosphere here is great. If it wasn't 30 minutes away from me, I would spend some more time here drinking some delicious beers and watching the game. My only negative opinion is that I feel the food was a little pricier that it should be for the amount of food that I received. However, the quality of the food totally made up for it. Great job, Old Ellsworth Brewing Co.! I will definitely be by again when I'm in that area.
Mushrooms buttons were cold and dry. I ate one and they never asked why and just threw it out. I ordered the egg rolls too and they were very average. Last I ordered the Nashville chicken based on being a top recommendation. It was dry but oily at the same time It was burnt and hard around the edges. Like actually black from being deep fried that’s a new one for me. Again I picked at it and they took it and threw it out never asked why. It had no flavor at all. Skip this place for the food maybe just stick to drinks here. Tanner the bartender seemed like a cool dude just not aware unfortunately I won’t be back. Waste of $50
First time here. Came with friends who live close to the restaurant. It was the first time coming here for all of us. Being a Saturday night, the place was pretty busy. The hostess and waitress were very friendly and attentative. The food, however, was not that great. We started with the nachos where half the cheese wasn't even melted and was cold. The guacamole didn't seem fresh and was overly spicy. One person got the hot chicken sandwich, which he liked but said it was 'very hot'. Two of us got the wedge salad that was a disaster. Basically, very little dressing, hatch chilis (on a wedge ?!) With over cooked bacon and tomatoes. The iceberg lettuce didn't seem very fresh (see pic). It's probably the worst wedge salad I've ever had. For reference, Walleys Gastropub, the Keg, and Hillstone set the bar for wedge salads.
Got two of the dippers for dinner. Ordered take out. Was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. It was ready in 15 minutes but…. I arrived and everything was in six different boxes one small box per half of sandwich. I figured the dipping sauce would be in there it wasn’t. I then bit into one of the weirdest and nastiest sandwiches I’ve tasted. I’m not sure what happened. But this sandwich had some homemade salad conconction of cauliflower olives, bell peppers, diced tomatoes, string carrots and celery. Not to mention none of the vegetables were cooked. I was expecting something much better.
Great food, great prices and amazing service. Everyone is so friendly. We will definitely be back!
