Southwest Mountain Realty managed 2 properties for us for 8 years. They are very knowledgeable and professional taking care of everything. This property management company is the worst. Veronica Despain thinks she doesn't have to answer to Nobody since she says she her own boss. She is so unprofessional. She also brings her kids to work when i was moving into the property and her kid took a crap in the toilet even though the water wasn't turned on yet so it couldn't be flushed. Bringing your kid to work is so unprofessional. She needs a class on professionalize. Taylor walfert is unprofessional too and has no back bone if you complain to her about anything she pretty much sides with the reality company and will not take care of anything. They constantly violate you for everything, so you have to pay a fine. Now they will probably write in response that this is untrue but i have written documents between me and them on how unprofessional they are. Don't rent from this company because there a nightmare who will fine you and lie about things so they can charge you for it. they never inspect nothing.
We have worked with SWMR and staff on and off for 6 years in various capacities. They have the best customer service and unbeatable ethics when it comes to doing the right thing by all parties. Their commitment to their investors and tenants is truly next level and we would highly recommend them.
I am an absentee landlord living in CA and own 3 properties in AZ, in Queen Creek and Gilbert. I've been using SWMR since 2006! when I first was referred to Lindsey. So at this point they're almost like family. I'm only writing this review now because I'm dealing with an eviction on one of my properties in Los Angeles and I wish I had their property management services. They are always so professional and quickly take care of any issues with my properties. Not only that, they manage all subcontractors and quickly rent out after turnovers. I think the best aspect of them is their transparency when it comes to renters and desired rents. They will tell me what I don't want to hear sometimes and over the years, I've learned that they are usually right. They will ultimately do whatever you want, but they will not sugar coat anything and pass you along. And because of this, I've ended up with minimum vacancies and great long term tenants. I can't recommend them enough. I just wished they managed my properties in CA
I had to give one star rating to do the review, but if I could, I would give them zero stars. This business managed a property of mine for two years. The owner of the business never ever went to the property and inspected it during the lease period. The last tenant they moved out in December the house was a complete disaster inside and outside. They never inspected the home one time during the 12 month lease. Then at the end of the lease, I find out that they gave my dryer and washer away to the previous tenants. Then they lied and said that there wasn’t a washer and dryer in that property. Avoid this realtor and property management company at all cost. They have no idea what they’re doing or how to run a real estate business.
