We walked in on a weekday night and were seated immediately in the bar lounge area. After about 10 minutes of no one greeting us, we decided to move to the bar, which tends to get better service in my opinion. The bartender was quite pleasant and made us feel welcomed. I ordered the ribeye with a loaded baked potato and the steak was cooked perfect and had a lot of flavors of it. I really enjoyed my meal there. 4 stars because of the mishap in the beginning and my water glass having leftover lipstick on it. 😮💨
Gluten friendly/gluten free menu available. Lettuce wrap option only for sandwiches and burgers. Several entree options available with meat: chicken, pork, ribs, steak, etc. I chose the ribs with baked beans and spaghetti squash and it was all OK. Ribs came cold and seemed to have more BBQ suace than meat. Spaghetti squash comes with Marinara that tastes like sugar, would have liked a different option I wanted a vegetable not a make shift pasta side. Baked beans were the best part. Husband got the pork and liked his dish, and enjoyed his baked potato and sugar snap peas. Reservation recommended for popular times and days.
Very great romantic atmosphere for family events, date nights, anniversaries..etc. Ordered flatbread pizza (as appetizers) with filet and sirloin steaks. The steaks were a bit overcooked (you can taste a burnt flavor). Everything else (house salad, baked potatoes, and flatbread pizza) were amazing. Make sure to try the croissants as they are fluffy and delicious. Expect to pay around $50/person
Charleston's is old school just the way I like it. Kinda like a TGI Fridays, but it's better. The chicken fried chicken and salmon entrees are great. I think they have the best artichoke-spinach dip in metro Phoenix. Burgers are great. Charcoal grilled and you can do medium rare to well done. My favorite is the hickory burger. Bartenders and wait staff are very friendly and efficient.
I ordered a salad with chicken only to discover it was Mesquite grilled. I'm very allergic. They apologized and were very courteous. Another salad was made for me without chicken. It was delicious. Then my sister discovered she didn't have any of the house made croutons. They are amazing. More apologies. They food was good and the staff was attentive. The menu didn't list anything that said it was Mesquite grilled. When it was all also and done, I would definitely return. We only had to pay for one salad. This is an amazing eatery.
