Absolutely awful. 2 year old home with nothing but problems with our A/C and they refuse to accept responsibility or correctly fix the issue. 2 different techs came out within 3 days and had 2 completely different diagnosis'. Not to mention when they were out a year after they originally installed it for another problem they did not correctly fix. And don't bother talking to Casey, the service manager unless you want to get constantly interrupted and lied to. Company as a whole is a complete joke.
Clean up after yourselves! I’m in a newly built home and these people came out and left insulation all over my floor. All that’s needed is a cordless shop vac and some respect for a homeowner. The photos don’t show it very well since the tile is a similar color to the insulation, but there’s dozens of bits of insulation.
Currently not impressed. We had our appointment window of 1pm to 5pm. Tech did not arrive until almost 7pm and was ill prepared. He was nice and appeared to do a good job. Unfortunately the tech, I assume was tired and wasn't paying attention and fell part way through our ceiling. The lack of communication and control of the situation between the supervisor and the tech was poor and made us wonder if the were going to fix our house. It was a huge mess that was left for the home owners to clean. Once we got a person with the ability to communicate well the house was repaired immediately. I was never called back afterwards by Chas to make sure things were fixed to my standard. Never an offer to clean the mess or an attempt to make it right. Once the contract is finished I will be looking for a company with better service. I'm sure my experience is rare and you might not have the issues we had, however the follow through and communication are just as important as the task a failure of one is telling to me.
The HVAC tech, Raymond, stopped by our house in San Tan Valley today. He got our routine annual service done on our system but, while completing his job, he decided to go into my Wife’s office knowing the door was closed as she was working and as she had our dog in there. Rather than knock and ensure it was okay to go in to check the air vent in there, he barged in which shocked my wife and scared the dog causing her to bark frantically at him. What if my wife was on a call for work and he created this scene? What if our dog had bit him out of fear all because my wife didn’t have enough time to ensure she was kept away from him? It’s considerate and customer service friendly to ensure it is okay to enter certain areas of a home, not to just barge in like he did. 2nd, the guy had the audacity to tell me I need to watch the dog poop in my backyard (where the HVAC system is located). He said it “smelled horrible” because of the odor from the poop and that technicians won’t come out if there’s too much of it and smells bad, which he claimed it was like that for my place. I have the poop picked up every other week by a professional cleaning company who also deodorizes the backyard to ensure it doesn’t smell, never have an issue with the smell after it’s done. But, because there were a few pieces of poop, and it rained the night before, the smell wasn’t the greatest. He informed me that it’s a “biohazard” and that a lot of Chas Robert’s techs won’t come out and complete the work unless we clean the poop up before they get there. I told him that I’ve never been told this in the 3 years I’ve used their services and his response to that was “it’s common sense bro”. Lol, I’m not stupid bro, I wouldn’t like the smell either but, don’t work in a blue collar field if you can’t handle dirty jobs. If you can’t handle harsh smells, go work elsewhere. A few pieces of poop won’t hurt anyone. And don’t come into my house talking and acting the way you did. I’ll probably be cancelling my services with Chas Robert’s after this interaction.
The only reason I go through this place is because they are the original installer of the A/C unit of our new home that’s only 2 years old. I’m now going on the third blower motor and now being told it’s “normal wear and tear after” going out a year later after they “fixed it” the last time. I’m pretty sure blower motor are not supposed to go out yearly? Please don’t waste your time. I even told them the blower was out and still proceeded to tell me it was the control board then comes back to tell me yeah it’s the blower “we fixed” last time so how is this my fault asking me to pay close to a grand to fix it? Only reason I put one star is because zero stars is not an option.
