I saw periodontist Dr Phillip Garrett yesterday for a second opinion regarding an upper molar that has been sensitive & aching for a couple of years. I had a root canal done & a crown placed on this tooth in 2022. He discussed the possibility of a crack in the molar that was under the crown based on my symptoms & recommended having it pulled. Long story short, he was correct!!!👍🏻 There was a crack & a sliver of the tooth was pressing on 1 of my nerve roots. I am so grateful to have seen him. He is so professional, patient, kind & made me feel at ease explaining what he was doing throughout the extraction! I highly, highly recommend Dr Garrett if you need a periodontist! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
